Chinese tech company Realme has finally officially launched the Realme C55 4G smartphone in India after its international debut. It is the costliest phone in the company's C-series so far.
The most special thing about this phone is that it has been given the dynamic island functionality feature given in the iPhone 14 Pro priced at around Rs 1.50 lakh. The company is calling it a 'mini capsule'.
Through the Dynamic Island feature, data usage and charging information can be seen on the home screen of the phone itself. Apart from this, users will also be able to see their walking steps, but this feature is still in the testing phase. The dynamic island functionality will be smartly adjusted around the punch-hole camera cutout in the display.
The company has launched the smartphone in 3 variants. Its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage costs Rs 10,999, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage costs Rs 11,999 and 8GB + 128GB storage variant costs Rs 13,999. The first sale of the phone will start on March 28 at 12 noon on realme.com and Flipkart.
Realme C55 can be pre-ordered from realme.com and Flipkart till March 27. There is a bank offer of up to Rs.1000 on realme.com and an exchange discount of Rs.1000 on Flipkart on pre-ordering. Realme C55 comes in two color options, it includes Sunshower and Rainy Night color.
Display: Realme C55 smartphone has a 6.72-inch Full HD + display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. This screen with punch-hole style is made on LCD panel and supports 90Hz refresh rate. The thickness of the phone is only 7.89mm.
Processor and software: Realme C55 Android 13 operating system has been given, which works in conjunction with the Realme UI 4.0 interface. MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor is available in the phone for processing. Realme C55 is equipped with 8GB Dynamic RAM technology which can expand the phone's internal 8GB RAM up to 16GB.
Camera: Dual camera setup has been given on the rear panel of the smartphone. It has a 64MP primary sensor with LED flash. This camera is also seen in Realme GT Master Edition. At the same time, an 8MP front camera has been given for selfie and video calling.
Battery and Charger: For power backup, 5000 mAh battery has been provided in Realme C55, which is equipped with 33W fast charging technology.
Connectivity: The phone is equipped with basic connectivity features including Dual SIM, 3.5mm jack and NFC.
