Petrol Price in Delhi Falls a Low of 5 Months, Continues to Decline

Due to the price of petrol and diesel, continuous decline continued for the second day on Friday. Prices of petrol and diesel have come down to the lowest level of five months in the National Capital Region Delhi. Petrol at petrol pumps of Delhi is getting Rs 70.18 a liter and diesel is sold at Rs 64.17 a liter.

Earlier, in Delhi on January 14, 2019, petrol was priced at Rs 70.13 a liter, while the price of diesel was cheaper in Delhi from Rs 63.69 on January 13, 2019. Diesel was priced at Rs 64.18 per liter in Delhi on January 14.

Oil marketing companies cut petrol prices by 17 paise per liter in Delhi and Kolkata and 16 paise per liter in Mumbai and 18 paise per liter in Chennai. Diesel prices are down by 16 paise in Delhi and Kolkata, while in Mumbai and Chennai, 17 paise has been reduced.

According to IndianOil website, prices of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai decreased to Rs 70.18, Rs 72.44, Rs 75.88 and Rs 72.90 per liter, respectively. Diesel prices have also fallen to Rs 64.17, Rs 66.09, Rs 67.28 and Rs 67.88 per liter respectively in all four metros.
