German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes Benz on Tuesday (April 11) launched the Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE performance four-door coupe in the Indian market.

German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes Benz on Tuesday (April 11) launched the Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE performance four-door coupe in the Indian market. The company has launched this car at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.30 crore. The company claims that it is the most powerful Mercedes car ever.

The biggest feature of this car is that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.9 seconds. At the same time, its top speed is 316 kilometers per hour.

Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE: Engine and Performance

The Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE Performance comes with a 4.0-litre twin turbo v8 engine. Also, it has an axle-mounted 204hp electric motor. Both the engines together generate 831 bhp power along with 1470 Nm of peak torque.

The company claims that this car can run 12 kilometers at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour in EV-only mode. At the same time, 7 drive modes Slippery, Individual, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Electric and Race are available in this car.

Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE : Interior

The interiors of the new Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE Performance get the AMG treatment with carbon fiber sports seats and Alcantara inserts, along with AMG badging. Also, it gets AMG multi-function steering wheel with shortcut dials.

The AMG GT 63 SE Performance gets two 12.4-inch screens, one for the digital instrument console and the other for the infotainment system.

Mercedes Benz has sold 4,697 cars in India this year i.e. January to March with a growth of 17%. Last year in the same quarter, the company had sold 4,022 cars.
