Mahindra has started booking its first electric SUV XUV400 from today. The company recently announced its price. The ex-showroom price of the EC variant of the vehicle has been kept at Rs 15.99 lakh, while the EL variant will be available for Rs 18.99 lakh. These are introductory prices which will be available for the first 5000 customers. Customers can book the car by paying a booking amount of Rs.5000.
The company will deliver the vehicle in different phases. In the first phase, the company will deliver the car to customers in 34 cities. These include Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Mumbai MMR, Nashik, Verna (Goa), Pune, Nagpur, Bangalore, Chennai, Trivandrum, Cochin, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Dehradun, Coimbatore, Aurangabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolhapur, Mysore, Mangalore, Vadodara, Patna, Calicut, Raipur, Ludhiana, Udaipur, Jammu, Guwahati, Lucknow, Agra, Indore.
Mahindra has claimed that it will deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 to customers within a year of its launch. Deliveries of the XUV400 EL will begin from March this year, while the deliveries of the EC variant will begin during the festive season of Diwali. The company is offering a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 kilometers on the battery pack and motor of this SUV.

The car with 4200 overall length with 1821MM width is also dust and water proof.
