Jio Cinema has launched a premium subscription plan. That is, for the premium subscription of Jio Cinema, you will also have to subscribe like Amazon Prime Video, Disney + Hotstar and Netflix. Jio Cinema has priced its premium subscription plan at Rs 999. Under this plan, company users will get subscription of Jio Cinema for 12 months.
Movies and shows like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Succession and Discovery will soon be available on the Jio Cinema app. Under this plan, users can log-in to their account on 4 devices simultaneously. According to the information given on the Play Store, the Jio Cinema app has been downloaded more than 100 million times so far.
Jio Cinema's premium subscription will allow you to watch movies and shows like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Succession and Discovery. For this, Mukesh Ambani's company Viacom18 has tied up with Hollywood's well-known production house Warner Bros Discovery Inc. After this deal, Jio Cinema will give direct competition to Amazon Prime Video and Disney Hotstar.
Viacom18 and Warner Bros said, movies and shows on Jio Cinema will premiere in the US only. Previously, Disney had the rights to stream content from Warner Bros. and HBO. This partnership ended on 31 March 23. For this reason Indian viewers were not able to stream shows like HBO's Game of Thrones. Warner Bros. is the parent company of HBO.
