The meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a visit to India is going to be held today. A day before this meeting, agreements were signed between companies of both countries on 129 important MoUs. The MoUs signed by companies of both countries include Agri, Mineral, Textile and Food Processing sectors.
During this MoU agreement, representatives of both countries emphasized on increasing trade and investment. Chinese representatives said that relations between the two countries are eternal like Ganga. The representative of China said that our investment in India has increased in the last few years. At the same time, India's investment in China has increased. He further explained that our Chinese brands like Oppo, Xiaomi have now become domestic products of India.
Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, Shu Shiang, said, "With more than 2.7 billion people and a market of 20 percent of the world's total GDP, China and India have vast potential to grow economic and trade cooperation." Speaking at the India-China Business Meeting and Signing Ceremony organized by FICCI, he said that with the current $ 75 billion trade, both countries are moving towards $ 100 billion trade.
