Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) on Thursday again increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Delhi. CNG has increased by Rs 2.5 per kg from today i.e. April 4. In the last six days, CNG has become costlier by a total of Rs 9.10. After this, now the price of CNG has gone up to Rs 69.11 per kg.

  • Delhi - Rs 69.11 per kg

  • Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad - Rs 71.67 per kg

  • Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli - Rs 76.34 per kg

  • Gurugram - Rs 77.44 per kg

  • Rewari - Rs 79.57 per kg

  • Kaithal and Karnal - Rs 77.77 per kg

  • Hamirpur, Kanpur and Fatehpur - Rs 80.90 per kg

  • Rajsamand, Ajmer and Pali - Rs 79.38 per kg

Petrol-Diesel prices

The price of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 105.41 per litre, while the price of diesel is Rs 96.67 per litre. In the country's commercial capital Mumbai, a litre of petrol is available for Rs 120.51, while diesel costs Rs 104.77 here.

Petroleum Minister's statement on rising prices

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that after the Russia-Ukraine war, petrol prices in India have increased by just 5 per cent, while in some developed countries has increased by more than 50 per cent. Citing the data, the minister said that the increase in petrol prices in India is very less in comparison to the developed and other developing countries after the war. Petroleun and Natural Gas minister said that in countries like US, UK, Canada, Germany and Sri Lanka, petrol prices have increased by more than 50 per cent.
