At the Delhi Disaster Management Authority meeting on Saturday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lodged a protest with reasonable arguments before Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
Opposing the decision of Lt. Governor Anil Baijal of compulsory 5-day institutional quarantine for COVID-19 patients, CM Kejriwal said that the railways have provided isolation coaches, but in the hot weather how would a person survive?
At the meeting, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that there is already a shortage of health workers. In such a situation, how will the arrangement of doctors and nurses be possible for thousands of patients at the Quarantine Center?
Let us tell you that on June 17, 5748 patients were cured in the Home Isolation Management System by the Government of Delhi and 367 serious patients have been sent to the hospital. At present, there are 8480 patients in home isolation.
Arvind Kejriwal also said why different rules are being implemented in Delhi when the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is allowing isolates at home for people with asymptomatic and mild symptoms across the country.
