Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xtreme 200S 4V (Xtreme 200S 4V) on Tuesday (July 18) in the premium sports motorcycle segment.
This new powerful model is an upgrade version of the discontinued Xtreme 200S. The Indian two-wheeler maker company has given many advanced features like smartphone connectivity in it.
The company has priced the 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V at Rs 1,41,250 (Delhi, ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The customer can buy the bike from official dealerships across the country. The bike is available in three dual tone color options - Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic and Matte Axis Gray Metallic.
The sports motorcycle is powered by a 200cc 4 valve oil cooled OBD2 engine with XSense technology, which generates 19 hp power at 8000 rpm and 17.35 Nm torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is tuned with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The updated engine meets BS6-II emission norms, is eco-friendly and is capable of running on E20 petrol as well.
The new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V features dual LED headlights with LED DRLs. Apart from this, sporty graphics, LED tail lamps with LED light guide, new split handle bar, muscular rear cowl and sporty compact exhaust are available.
The new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is equipped with a fully digital LCD speedometer that displays gear indicator, eco-mode indicator, service reminder and trip meter. Apart from this, it also gets Bluetooth connectivity, rear hugger and turn-by-turn navigation with smartphone connectivity.
For comfortable riding, the bike has 7-step adjustable mono-shock suspension. Braking duties are handled by updated front and rear petal disc brakes with single-channel ABS.
The company recently increased the prices of all its bikes by 1.5%. Earlier in March, the prices of its select models of motorcycles and scooters were increased by 2% due to the new emission norms.
Hero is currently updating its vehicles to BS6 Phase-2 norms. In this, OBD 2 (On-Board Diagnostics) device is being installed in the vehicle. This device monitors the level of carbon emissions in real time.
