Google has officially unveiled its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold. Google is yet to reveal the specifications and pricing of the new Pixel Fold. Google posted a video teaser on Twitter with the phrase 'May the Fold be with you'. Along with this, Google also told that the device will be launched on May 10 at the Google I/O event.
The new video reveals that the Google Pixel Fold will come with a triple camera setup. The third lens in this is a periscope lens, which is also found in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. At the same time, a CNBC report has claimed that the price of this phone will be similar to that of Galaxy Z Fold4. That is, this Google phone can be launched for Rs 1.55 lakh.
The video also reveals that Google's first foldable smartphone has a vertical hinge that opens up like a tablet-like display. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy Fold lineup also opens. Users get an external touchscreen for use when the phone is off. According to reports, a 5.8-inch display can be found in the Google Pixel Fold, which when opened becomes like a 7.6-inch tablet.
Earlier this week, Google also announced that it will be launching a new Pixel device in India. This pixel can be 7a. The company has shared a teaser of this. The device will launch on Flipkart on May 11.
