At the same time, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has been increased by Rs 350.50. It is now available for Rs 2119.50 in Delhi. This is the second increase in the prices of commercial cylinders this year. On January 1, the prices were increased by Rs 25.

1. Gas cylinder became costlier

The price increased by Rs 203.50 in the last one year

Talking about the change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders in the last one year, it has changed a total of 5 times. On March 22, 2022, after increasing the price of cylinder by Rs 50, it had increased from Rs 899.50 to Rs 949.50 in Delhi.

After this, the oil marketing companies increased the price by Rs 50 on May 7, 2022, due to which it reached Rs 999.50. In the same month, on May 19, the rates were again increased by Rs 2.50. After this the price became Rs.1003.

On July 6, 2022 also, the prices of cylinders were increased by Rs.50. After this increase, the price had become Rs 1053. Now once again the price has been increased by Rs 50, due to which the cost of the cylinder has gone up to Rs 1103. That is, the price has increased by Rs 203.50 in the last one year.

Subsidy closed from June 2020

Most people are not getting subsidy on LPG cylinders since June, 2020. Now only those who have been given cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme get a subsidy of Rs 200. For this, the government spends about Rs 6,100 crore. In June 2020, a non-subsidised cylinder was available in Delhi for Rs 593, which has now increased to Rs 1103.
