Forbes Released List Of World’s Most Prestigious Companies, Infosys Ranked 31st

Forbes has said that 'Infosys' leads the Asian companies in this list. Infosys is followed by Netflix which ranks fourth on the list. It is followed by Pay Pal (5), Microsoft (6), Walt Disney (7), Toyota Motor (8), MasterCard (9), Costco Wholesale (10).

Forbes' list of the world's most prestigious companies includes 17 companies including Infosys, TCS and HDFC. The IT sector giant Infosys has taken a quantum leap and reached the third position in this list. Beyond that is global payment technology company Visa and Italian carmaker Ferrari. Infosys was ranked 31st on this list last year.

Indian companies Tata Consultancy Services (22) and Tata Motors (31) are among the top 50 companies. At the same time, Tata Steel (105), Larsen & Toubro (115), Mahindra & Mahindra (117), HDFC (135), Bajaj Finzerv (143), Piramal Enterprises (149), Steel Authority of India (153), HCL Technologies (155), Hindalco Industries (157), Wipro (168), HDFC Bank (204), Sun Pharma Industries (217), General Insurance Corporation of India (224), ITC (231) and Asian Paints (248).

Forbes' list of the world's most respected 250 companies includes 59 US companies. It is followed by Japan, China and India. Altogether 82 companies from these three countries are included in this list. Last year, this figure was 63 companies.

Forbes, along with Statista, has selected these 250 most prestigious companies from the world's 2,000 largest companies. This list has been prepared on the basis of reliability, social conduct products and services. Statista prepared the list after talking to 15,000 people from more than 50 companies.
