DTH: Deadline for Selecting TRAI’s Channels is Over, haven’t you Selected your Choice of Channel Yet?

TRAI's deadline to select channels for DTH and cable has ended on March 31. Today customers of Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV, Dish TV, Videocon, Hathway will not be able to see many channels or become the channel you want not to become active. So far, any user who has not chosen the channel plan will put them in DTS Company 'Best Fit Plan'.

TRAI has given these options to companies that if a customer does not find a channel, then its plans will be decided according to its old television viewing pattern. These plans have been made by companies.

You can see which plan has been activated for you by visiting the DTH Company's website. For this, you must have a DTH Consumer number. Customers will get 100 channels in 130 rupees a month. It will also add 18 rupees GST, so that the minimum price for the package will be 153 rupees.

Customers will get 25 channels of Doordarshan in these 100 channels. These cannot be removed from the pack. If someone chooses more than 100 channels then the network capability fee of Rs 20 will be given for the next 25 channels. This means that if you choose 150 channels, your bill will be Rs 170. It will add 18 percent GST. The price of the channel will be linked separately.

If you want to change this best fit plan then you can change it. Many companies have already activated it for their customers. Many customers have complained about the DTH bill increase due to this move of TRAI. One thing and 1 HD channel in 100 channels of Base Pack will be considered equal to 2 SD channels.
