According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remains at Rs 74.20, Rs 76.89, Rs 79.86 and Rs 77.13 per liter respectively. Talking about diesel, the four metros are being sold at Rs 65.84, Rs 68.25, Rs 69.06 and Rs 69.59 per liter respectively without any change.
Prices Increased on Tuesday
Last Tuesday, petrol and diesel prices were increased. On this day, petrol in Kolkata and Mumbai was costlier by 15 paise in addition to Delhi, while in Chennai, the price of petrol increased by 16 paise per liter. At the same time, diesel was increased by 5 paise per liter in the four metros. Earlier, the oil marketing companies had not made any change in the price of diesel for six consecutive days.
