Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots like ChatGPT, Google Bard have simplified the work. They are also proving to be attractive helpers to save expenses and time.

Despite this, countries like China, Russia, Iran and many multinational companies have banned their use or are allowing it to be used at a limited level.

The biggest reason for this is that the dependence on AI runs the risk of overpowering humans. There is also a risk of personal information and private technical features being leaked or stolen. Also, there is a risk of loss of jobs due to AI.

AI will overpower humanity

According to a survey, 42% CEOs say that AI will overpower humanity in 5 to 10 years. According to another survey of 12,000 professionals, 43% of employees use AI platforms like ChatGPT at work without informing their boss. This increases the risk of companies leaking their privacy.

This is the main reason for the recent ban on the use of AI by Samsung. When one of its engineers accidentally made the company's important confidential material public on ChatGPT.

Actually, anything uploaded on the AI platform gets stored on the servers of those companies. After that there is no way to remove it or prevent it from reaching there.

Risk of fabricating wrong narratives through AI

Countries like China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Italy, Syria and Cuba have banned ChatGPT. They allege that it can be misused to create fake news, wrong narratives. Apart from Amazon, Apple, many banks of America have banned AI.
