Commercial cylinders became expensive: The price of 19 kg LPG increased by Rs 73.5

Gas companies have increased the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 73.5. The new rates have come into effect from August 1.

Gas companies have increased the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 73.5. The new rates have come into effect from August 1. There has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic cylinder. Government should see to it that the prices are getting increased day by day and jobs are also not secure here due to covid so the prices should not be increased with this rapid speed.

On July 1, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder was increased by Rs 25.50. This year the price of the domestic cylinders has increased by Rs 138.50. The price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi on January 1 this year was Rs 694. Which is now getting Rs 834.50.

Government oil marketing companies review the prices of gas cylinders on the first of every month. After this, they decide to increase or decrease the price or keep it constant.

Gas cylinder price doubled in last 7 years

In the last 7 years, the price of a domestic gas cylinder (14.2 kg) has doubled to Rs 834.50 per cylinder. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder on 1st March 2014 was Rs 410.5 which is now Rs 834.50. The rates are getting doubled which is not the right way as of now. In this epidemic time, the rates of everything should get decreased.
