Users will soon get a chat filter feature in the popular messaging app WhatsApp, through which users will be able to manage chats in a better way. WABetaInfo has given information about this in one of its reports.

According to the report, WhatsApp has just rolled out this feature for some web beta users. In the coming time, the company will roll out this feature for other WhatsApp users also. It is currently in the testing phase of beta version 2.2353.59.

Chats will be visible in four filters

According to the report, after this feature is rolled out, users will be able to view chats in four filters – All, Unread, Contacts and Groups. When users select All from the filters, all chats will be visible. At the same time, when users select Unread, only those messages will be visible which they have not even opened.

Similarly, when the Contacts filter is selected, only those chats whose numbers will be saved in the user's smartphone will be visible. With this, groups will appear in the groups filter.

For whom will this feature be useful?

Chat filter feature will be useful for almost all WhatsApp users. Many times the unread messages go to the very bottom, due to which one has to scroll down to the bottom of the chat to read and reply to them. After the introduction of this feature, it will become easier for users to find chats.

Recently WhatsApp rolled out four new features

Recently WhatsApp has rolled out four new features for video calls. This includes screen sharing, landscape mode, video messaging and voice-chat features. The screen sharing feature allows users to share their device's screen with other users during video calling. Along with this, the mobile can also be used in landscape mode during video calling.

At the same time, through the video message feature, WhatsApp users can send short video messages. Through this feature, users can record and send real time video up to 60 seconds. The company claims that these messages will also be end-to-end encrypted.
