Due to the ongoing tension in the US-Iran, the Indian stock market was in a downturn since the last two trading days. Meanwhile, a sharp rise in market prices was recorded on Tuesday due to softening of crude oil prices.

Despite the ongoing tension in the US-Iran, the global positive signals have benefited the Indian stock market. In the opening trade, the SENSEX strengthened to 500 points and crossed the level of 41,150 points. At the same time, the Nifty was trading up by 12 points with a gain of 140 points. Explain that the market has recorded a rise due to softening of crude oil prices.

In the initial trade, 29 out of 30 shares of BSE Index were on green mark. During this period, banking sector was the biggest gainer. IndusInd Bank shares rose up to 3 percent. The shares of Tech Mahindra remained on the red mark.

Explain that in the current financial year 2019-20, the first estimate of the gross domestic product (GDP) data will be presented today i.e. on Tuesday. The impact of these figures can be seen on the stock market.

Market Condition on Monday

Sensex broke 788 points on Monday due to selling by investors amid continued tension in US-Iran. At the end of trading, the Sensex fell 787.98 points, or 1.90 percent, to close at 40,676.63. This was the biggest drop in the Sensex in the last six months. Earlier on 8 July 2019, there was a big drop in the SENSEX. Similarly, the Nifty also closed 233.60 points, or 1.91 percent, at 11,993.05 points at the end of trading.

Among the stocks included in the BSE Sensex, Bajaj Finance recorded the highest decline of 4.63 percent. After this, shares of SBI, IndusInd Bank, Maruti, HDFC, Hero Motocorp, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and Reliance Industries also declined. However, despite the declining trend, Titan and Power Grid stocks gained. Please tell that on Friday, the Sensex fell 162.03 points and closed at the level of 41,464.61 points. Talking about the Nifty, it was down by 55.55 points at 12,226.65 points.
