The National Award ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan on Monday 23 December in New Delhi, the country's capital. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu distributed the 66th National Award on this occasion. Many film stars were present on this occasion. This time the National Award for Best Entertainment Film received the film 'Badhaai Ho'. The award for this superhit film was received by Director Amit Ravindranath Sharma from Vice President.

Legendary actress Surekha Sikri has also received the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for this superhit film released in the year 2018. Nakul (25) ie Ayushman Khurana works in a corporate company in the story of this film with the lead roles of Ayushmann Khurrana, Nina Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri and Sanya Malhotra.
