
Audi India is going to increase the price of its 2 sedan cars from 1st May. The luxury car making company has announced this on Tuesday (April 11) citing the increase in custom duty and input cost. Audi said that the price of Q3 and Q3 Sportback models will be increased by 1.6%. Earlier, the company had increased the prices of Audi Q8 Celebration, Audi RS5 and Audi S5 by 2.4%.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India said, “Audi India always strives to provide the best possible products and services to our customers. However, the increase in custom duty and input cost has necessitated the revision in prices. We tried to reduce its impact at different levels, but in the current situation, the increase in price is necessary.
Audi India released the sales report on January 2, stating that they sold a total of 4,187 vehicles in the country in the year 2022, which is 27.14% more than the previous year. Earlier in 2021, the company had sold 3,293 vehicles in the country.
