The new price has come into effect from today i.e. May 7. A few days ago, there was a huge increase in the prices of commercial gas cylinders. At the same time, the prices of Pipeline Gas (PNG) had also increased continuously in the past. Due to the increase in the price of gas, the common people have got a big shock of inflation.

At the same time, the process of increasing the prices of food items is continuing and there is no sign of relief from anywhere for the people who are suffering from inflation.

Before this, the last time the price of a domestic gas cylinder was increased by Rs 50 on 22 March 2022, after which the price of a gas cylinder in Delhi went up to Rs 949.50. Then the gas cylinder was available in Kolkata for Rs 976.

Congress has targeted the Center over the news of an increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinders and demanded the withdrawal of the increased price.

Central government is working on PPP model to meet its target

While gas prices have been rising steadily, the central government is working on PPP model to meet its target of gasifying 100 million tonnes of coal in the next eight years by the end of this decade to promote the use of clean energy.

For this, the Center is organizing an investor conference in Mumbai this Friday. According to the Centre, it will try to attract private partners through this conference.
