The company has said that the new plan will improve the process of average revenue per user (ARPU). This will help the company to overcome the financial crisis. Let us tell you that a day before, Bharti Airtel has increased the prices of its prepaid plans by up to 25%.

Vodafone Idea has 270 million wireless users across the country. These include both prepaid and postpaid. That is, the effect of the increased prices will be on all prepaid users of Vodafone. After Airtel and VI, now Reliance Jio can also make its prepaid plans expensive. Currently, Jio's prepaid plans are the cheapest.

How expensive will VI's tariff plan become?

Vodafone Idea users will now have to spend Rs 99 for the Rs 79 plan. That is, he will have to pay 20 rupees more on this cheapest plan. At the same time, for the plan of Rs 2399 with annual validity, Rs 2899 will now have to be spent. That is, he will have to pay 500 rupees extra. The company has also made the top-up plan expensive.

Which telecom company has how many customers?

At present, there are a total of 106 crores 4G users in the country. Reliance Jio has the highest number of 44 crore subscribers. Whereas Airtel has 35 crores and Vi has 27 crore users. In such a situation, the effect of the new prices of both the companies (Vi + Airtel) will be 62 crores, about 58.5% users.

Internet speed also remains a big challenge in front of Airtel. For the past few months, Airtel has been far behind its competitors in download and upload speeds. Reliance Jio has consistently beaten in download speed and Vi India in upload speed. Airtel has mostly had to stay in the third position. Jio's average 4G download speed in October stood at 21.9 Mbps. While Vi India's 4G download speed was 15.6 Mbps and Airtel's 4G download speed was 13.2 Mbps.

In October, Vi's dominance in terms of 4G upload speeds once persisted. Jio and Airtel once again lagged behind Vi in upload speed. Vi's average 4G upload speed last month was 7.6 Mbps. On the other hand, Reliance Jio stood second with an upload speed of 6.4 Mbps and Airtel stood at number three with an upload speed of 5.2 Mbps.
