Earlier on Tuesday, the markets closed with flat trading amid volatility. The Sensex closed at 51,934.88, down 2.56 points. Similarly, the Nifty closed at 15,574.85, down 7.95 points.
Japan's Nikkei index is trading up 149 points at 28,964.
China's Shanghai Composite Index declined 20 points to 3,604.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index is trading down 178 points at 29,315.
Korea's Kospi index fell by 2 points to 3,219.
Australia's All Ordinaries Index rose 58 points to 7,450.
On Tuesday, the US markets closed with volatility. The Dow Jones gained 0.13% to close at 34,575.30, up 45.86 points. The Nasdaq closed down 0.09% at 13,736.50, up 12.26 points. The S&P 500 index was down 2.07 points at 4,202.04. Here the markets of France and Germany closed with gains.
According to provisional data available on the NSE, on June 1, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 449.86 crore and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 230.49 crore. On Tuesday, the Sensex closed down 2 points at 51,934. At the same time, Nifty closed down 7 points at 15,574.
