Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched two new broadband plans. These plans are priced at Rs 299 and Rs 491. Data speed of 20Mbps is being given in both plans. These monthly rental plans have been launched prominently. These plans will be available till 25 March next year. Apart from high speed internet, 50GB and 120GB data will be given to customers in both the new plans of BSNL respectively.
These new broadband plans will offer unlimited voice calling and BSNL landline service benefits on any network (local and STD). However, these new plans are only available for new broadband users. Also for those BSNL landline users who want broadband service.
Talking about BSNL's new Rs 299 broadband plan, customers will get 50GB free data with an internet speed of 20Mbps. After this fixed data limit, data speed will be reduced to 1Mbps. Also, let us tell you that in this plan, free calling will also be available on any network (local and STD) across the country. However, for ISD calling, you have to pay at the rate of Rs 1.2 per unit
BSNL said that the company will charge 500 rupees as security deposit from the users for the new broadband connection. This promotional broadband plan of Rs 299 will be valid for 6 months. After this, users will be migrated to 2GB CUL, which costs Rs 399 per month. In this 2GB CUL plan, 2GB data is given daily at a speed of 8Mbps.
Talking about BSNL's Rs 491 broadband plan, it is also known as 120GB_CUL plan. In this, customers will get 120GB data at a speed of 20Mbps. After this limit, its speed will also be 1Mbps. In this too, like the plan of Rs 299, unlimited calling will be given to the customers. Also, after 6 months, customers will be migrated to 3GB CUL plan, which is priced at Rs 499. In 3GB CUL plan, 3GB data is available daily at 8Mbps speed. According to the report of TelecomTalk, even though both these plans are monthly rentals, BSNL is only accepting the half-year payment option.
