Dr. Anurag Saxena, a neurosurgery specialist, points out that people of 20 to 40 years of age are mostly cancer free and people over 50 years of age are most likely to get cancerous tumors. Cancerless tumors grow slower than cancerous tumors. He told that 10-15 people in 1 lakh have a brain tumor.

Water in the head is dangerous

Increasing the size of the tumor causes a lot of pressure on the brain. Due to this, there may be symptoms like headache, vomiting, dizziness, eyesight problems or problems in walking, problem while speaking. Occasionally the water in the head begins to accumulate due to the tumor, which is called hydrocephalus in the medical language. This condition can be dangerous for the patient.

Types of brain tumor

It is of 2 types – Primary and Secondary. The primary brain tumor grows only in the same part of the brain, in which it starts. The secondary brain tumor starts in a part of the brain but later it starts spreading in other parts of the body such as lungs, breast, kidney, skin, etc.
