Bomb Blast in Trinamool Leader’s House in Bengal

The bomb blast at the house of the ruling party Trinamool leader of West Bengal. The incident took place on Thursday morning in Regunia village under Sadaipur police station in Birbhum district. The name of the Trinamool leader whose house has been blasted is Sheikh Badruja. She is an influential Trinamool leader of Sadipur region and is also the booth president of Regunia village, her daughter Haitunekha Khatoon is the head of Sahapur Panchayat. Two people, including the Trinamool leader, have been seriously injured in this incident, have been hospitalized. Police have arrested two people in this case.

A massive explosion took place at Sheikh Badruja's house on Thursday morning. The roof of the house blew with the explosion. The police's primary guess is that explosives were placed inside the house or the work of making bombs etc. was going on at the same time. After getting the information, the forensic team of the district police has also reached the spot. Blast samples have been collected from the scene. How the blast happened is being investigated. At the same time, people around said that the sound of the blast was so loud that people living in the surrounding buildings shivered. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that the explosives were collected in the said house only to spread violence in the area.

Significantly, this district has been the most violent. This is not the first incident of explosion in the houses or party offices of Trinamool leaders here. Even before this, explosions have occurred in Nanur, Benefapur, Ilambazar and Khairasole. In February, there was a blast in the house of Sheikh Meenatula alias Meenu Sheikh, a Trinamool leader and Panchayat member of Dharmapur. In June, a similar blast took place at the Trinamool office at Meghdoot Club, near Mallarpur station, in which the club wall blew up.
