Following Jaya Bachchan’s outburst over actor and MP Ravi Kishan’s statement in the Lok Sabha on the Bollywood drugs case. Ravi Kishan said he hoped Jaya Bachchan would support his statement but did not do so. Ravi Kishan said that not everyone in Bollywood consumes drugs, but those who are doing so are becoming part of the conspiracy to end the world’s biggest film industry. Ravi Kishan said that the situation was not like that when Jaya ji and I came into the industry. But now we need to save this industry.
I expected Jaya ji to support what I said. Not everyone in the industry consumes drugs but those who do are part of a plan to finish the world’s largest film industry. When Jaya ji & I joined, situation was not like this but now we need to protect the industry: BJP MP Ravi Kishan https://t.co/Ds9CDtVygU pic.twitter.com/tOYtN9Sgp9

Jaya Bachan’s statement
Today in the Rajya Sabha, Jaya Bachchan said without naming BJP MP Ravi Kishan that I am ashamed of what a member of the Lok Sabha associated with industry said in the Lok Sabha yesterday. Some people are ‘ Piercing the Plate in which they eat.’ Raising this issue amidst criticism of Bollywood in Zero Hour on Tuesday in the Rajya Sabha, the Hindi film industry employs millions of people. On the social media, it is being called ‘gutter’.
Jaya Bachchan said that whenever there is a problem in the country, most Bollywood people stand for help. She said that an actor belonging to the same industry has spoken against the industry. This is quite condemnable.
