It is being told that Madhuri has also shown interest in the song and Bhansali also feels that no one else can do this song in a good way. However, it is yet to be officially announced. Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi have already been cast for the lead role for this film being planned for Netflix. Earlier, Madhuri played the character of Tawaif Chandramukhi in Bhansali's 'Devdas'.
Ajay Devgan's 'Maidaan' not sure to release on the OTT platform
The release of the films on the OTT platform has started again amid the second wave of Covid-19. After the Salman Khan starrer 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai', Ajay Devgn starrer 'Maidaan' is being speculated to go on OTT. However, the film's producer Boney Kapoor has denied this.
He said in a statement, "My films are for theaters. We have started post-production of 'Maidan' and we want to bring it to theaters." In another statement, Boney said that he has not had any discussion with any streaming platform for releasing 'Maidan' under the Pay Per View service.
