On Friday, the K-pop group formed in 2016, Blackpink, took the stage by a storm as they performed them major hits.  The group comprises of four members namely: Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo represented by YG entertainment. The fans of this group referred to as blinks loved every moment of the show as the performance was live-streamed on a large screen in New York's Times Square at night.

A recent song by the same group named "Kill This Love" broke various records and becoming the fastest video hit 100 million views, the most viewed music video debut in YouTube history, and the biggest YouTube Premiere of all time.

The group opened their performance at the U.S music festival with their song "DDU-DU DDU-DU". Later on, they went to perform "Kill This Love", which received the utmost appreciation. Jennie performed her single " Solo". Overall, the performances left the entire crowd yelling "Blackpink in your area."

But it was not only the audience that felt excited to witness the group perform. the members were equally honored and excited to take over such a huge stage and get a positive response from the people.

As the group welcomed everyone to their first-ever performance at the festival, Lisa told the crowd she was "excited to be here tonight," while Jennie called it "an honor to be a part of Coachella." Rosé also invited fans to sing along, even though it "might be hard because some of [the words] are in Korean." Later, she exclaimed, "I can't believe how many people have rocked out tonight. We are all so hyped up!

In totality the performance was a major hit, leaving the audience with the hunger of more K-pop. With this, everyone hopes to witness more K-pop acts at the stage during Coachella.
