BJP Worker Killed in Bengal

The body of a BJP worker was found hanging from a tree in Santoshpur of Dantan under West Medinipur district in Bengal on Friday. The deceased's name is Barsa Hansda. Police is investigating the case. Nobody has been arrested in this case yet.

The BJP claims that Barsa was his active worker from the tribal community, who was brutally murdered and hanged on a tree. The BJP alleges that this activist was killed by Trinamool goons.

On this incident, the state BJP has tweeted and raised the question, "Why are the liberals still silent on such brutal political killings in the Trinamool Congress-ruled state?" If this were a BJP-ruled state, would they have been so silent?

BJP national general secretary and state BJP in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya has alleged that this is the work of Trinamool goons. This is being done to instill fear. Mukul Roy said, spreading terror has always been a political mantra of the Trinamool, which is a shame. There is no democracy in Bengal during the rule of Mamata Banerjee. BJP is continuously campaigning for democracy.

Meanwhile, BJP general secretary Sayantan Basu said that his party workers have been targeted under the conspiracy by the Trinamool cadre from time to time.
