Delhi BJP leaders on Wednesday held a press conference and targeted the Aam Aadmi Party. Party leaders Public Policy Research Center released a report on the Delhi government's health service based on information received from RTI. BJP alleged that Delhi's healthcare is on ventilator.

Director of Public Policy Research Center Sumit Bhasin said that this report has been prepared by filing 131 RTIs and inspecting 44 health centers. 97 dispensaries were down as compared to 2014. During the 5 years, only 394 beds were added to the hospitals. He said that 1000 mohalla clinics were promised, but only 292 were opened. The number of people who died of diarrhea and respiratory disease in Delhi increased by 27 percent.

Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, director of the Center for Public Policy Research and BJP's national vice president, said that health and education should be given priority. The Delhi government has not been able to use the budget allocated to the Health Department in five years. There is a shortage of anti rabies injection in Delhi. He said that there is a rush of patients with cough, cold, fever in hospitals, this shows that people do not have faith in Mohalla clinic.

While Vigilance's investigation did not meet the equipment standard in Delhi government hospitals, the government did not investigate it. The High Court has also said that there is a lack of infrastructure in the Delhi government hospital. He said that the control over malaria and dengue was done by the corporations and Kejriwal is taking the credit. The poor are being denied the benefits of Ayushman.

New Delhi parliamentary constituency MP Meenakshi Lekhi alleged that the Chief Minister had promised to add 30,000 beds in government hospitals but 394 were added. It was promised 5 beds per thousand but 2 is available. He said that not a single primary health center was opened in Delhi. There is a lack of infrastructure, doctors, paramedical staff here. Pant Hospital's operation theater closed.
