BJP Leaders Should Work for the People Rather than Giving Speeches: Rajiv Tyagi

Congress leader Rajiv Tyagi said on Thursday that BJP leaders should work for the people instead of just giving speeches. Congress spokesperson Tyagi  'I want to advise the BJP not to just give speeches, but make policies for the people and work for them. The BJP's problem is that they speak too much but they do very little work. This statement came two days after the resignation of Devendra Fadnavis when he resigned from the post of CM after the Supreme Court's floor test decision.

In further conversation, Tyagi said, 'The BJP formed a government in Maharashtra in an undemocratic manner. The Supreme Court tried to show him a mirror. On NCP leader Ajit Pawar's statement that he is with NCP and the party has not expelled him, Tyagi said it would be the decision of NCP chief Sharad Pawar.

Tyagi said, 'The ideology of the Congress party is similar to the ideologies of Sharad Pawar. We talked to him about NCP. It will be his decision about Ajit Pawar. Asked if the Congress party had entered into an alliance with the Shiv Sena and NCP while forming an alliance in Maharashtra, Tyagi said, "BJP aligned with the Peoples Democratic Party." Now that his coalition has closed, he accused the PDP.

He further said, 'Our alliance is with Shiv Sena and that party has supported us on many occasions like Balasaheb Thackeray had supported Indira Gandhi. The Shiv Sena also supported Pranab Mukherjee and Pratibha Patil as the presidential candidates.

He said, the alliance of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP is based on the Common Minimum Program (CPM) keeping farmers, their issues, youth of Maharashtra and the development of the state as the focal point. Let us know that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as the 18th Chief Minister of Maharashtra in a grand ceremony at Shivaji Park in Mumbai this evening.
