BJP Cancels First Parliamentary Party Meeting Due to MP Madan Lal Saini Sudden Demise

After the demise of Rajasthan state president Madan Lal Saini, BJP has canceled the meeting of the parliamentary party which was to be held today. Madan Lal Saini took the last breath in Delhi's AIIMS on Monday. Saini was admitted to AIIMS in the last few days due to infection in the lungs.

Madan Lal Saini's body has been kept at the Jaipur BJP office to give final sight. Rajasthan's Ashok Gehlot, former CM Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat paid tribute to the Rajasthan BJP President. Madan Lal Saini will be cremated at 3 pm.

Before this, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP's National Working President, JP Nadda, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other BJP leaders paid tribute to  Rajasthan BJP Chief Madan Lal Saini at AIIMS in Delhi.

Madan Lal Saini was made the state president in 2018 before the Rajasthan assembly elections. Saini, who was unquestionably, made the BJP Rajya Sabha MP in 2017. He has also been associated with the Indian Labour Union for a long time.

BJP's Rajasthan chief and Rajya Sabha MP Madan Lal Saini died due to a lung infection on Monday. Saini was flown to Delhi for treatment in AIIMS. He was later shifted to the ICU after his condition deteriorated. He passed away today around 7.09 pm.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot extended his support to Madan Lal's family saying, "My thoughts and prayers are with his family members. May God give them the strength to bear this loss. May his soul rest in peace."
