On Friday, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that the government of Bengal  are not allowing the trains to go. The BJP leader said that in the state where there are laborers and where the laborers have to go, permission has to be taken from the governments of both the states and so far, the government of West Bengal has approved only nine trains.

Sambit Patra claimed that many receiving states are not giving permission. The Uttar Pradesh government has allowed 487 trains to enter, so the workers of UP are able to return home easily, whereas the government of Bihar has given permission to 254 trains to enter the state.

The BJP leader accused the Mamta government that so far the Bengal government has allowed only nine trains to enter. Meanwhile, lakhs of workers of Bengal are stranded outside, whereas Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh has given permission to only 10 trains, Jharkhand government has also allowed very few trains. Targeting Congress President Sonia Gandhi, the concerned Patra said why the governments of your states are not giving permission to the trains, today the pictures which are being seen on the streets are the result of this.

However, on the other side of the claim of Sambit Patra, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had informed by tweeting that more than 100 special trains have been arranged for the migrant laborers which will bring people back to Bengal in the next few days. The BJP leader claimed that the central government is raising the expenses of the shelter home, food for the migrant laborers, but the state governments are not making any arrangements for this. Today the Congress and TMC governments are responsible for the condition of the workers. Sambit alleged that the government of Bengal allowed trains to bring people to Ajmer, but Maharashtra has the highest number of laborers, where no permission has been received.

It is important to note that labor trains are being run by the Center on the basis of the recommendations of the state. Despite this, pictures of laborers returning home on the streets by foot or by bicycle are coming out. The Bengal government and the central government are already stubborn about the migrant laborers. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had also written a letter to Mamta Banerjee on this issue.
