Chollam: That is, now I go…
Bye!
I heard everything – father, mother, wife, daughter, one or two dear friends… after everyone's opinion it felt like I should retire from politics now. Yes, but let me also clarify that, I am not going to any other party- #TMC, #Congress, #CPIM, nowhere. I have not even been called by leaders of any other party. I'm not going anywhere. I am a team player! Always supported one team #MohunBagan (Bengal football team Mohun Bagan) and only BJP (West Bengal) in politics.. that's it!!

Stayed for a while.. kept something in mind, broke something.. Somewhere in your work made you happy, somewhere disappointed. You will not calculate. After answering all the questions that come in my mind, I say.. I say like myself.. Now I will go

If you want to do social work, you can do it without getting into politics. In the last few days, I thought again and again and made up my mind to quit politics. Today I have decided. I will be eternally grateful to Hon'ble Amit Shah and Hon'ble Naddaji for motivating them in every way.

I will never forget his love. Somewhere everyone might think I'm bargaining for a position. But this is not true, so there should be no doubt about it. I pray that they will forgive me without mistaking me. But I have to answer a question because it is relevant! The question is why did I leave politics? Does it have anything to do with leaving the ministry? Yes it is – there must be something there! I don't want to panic, so as soon as I answer this question, it will be fine. This will give me peace too.

There is a huge difference between 2014 and 2019..

I was the only one on BJP ticket then (in honor of Ahluwaliaji – GJM was BJP's ally in Darjeeling seat) but today BJP is the main opposition party in Bengal. Today there are many new young Turk leaders in the party as well as many senior leaders. Needless to say, the team led by him will go a long way from here. I have no hesitation in saying that having someone in the party today is not a big deal and I firmly believe that accepting it would be the right decision!

One more thing.. Even before the Bengal elections, there were differences with the state leadership on some issues. Some issues were coming out in public. Somewhere I am responsible for this (I posted a Facebook post which falls under the category of party discipline) other leaders are also responsible. Though I don't want to know who is responsible today, senior leaders of the party are getting hurt due to disagreements and quarrels. One doesn't need 'rocket science' knowledge to understand, that it in any way breaks the morale of party workers. It is completely unexpected at this point of time, so I am going away with endless gratitude and love to the people of Asansol.

I can't believe I went somewhere – I was with 'me', so I'm going somewhere, wouldn't say that today. Many new ministers haven't got government accommodation yet so I will leave my house in a month
