1985 was the period of the Cold War. When America and Russia were moving towards war, to save the world from devastation, US President Ronald Reagan and President of the undivided Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev met in the beautiful plains of this city of Geneva. It was agreed for the first time to reduce nuclear weapons.

In 2009, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks in this city. Then Hillary gifted Lavrov a yellow box. The message was – let's start anew. However, Russia's response was not very warm. The tension between the two countries could not be reduced.

The first Geneva Convention was held here. Pope Paul also came here in 1969 and addressed 70 thousand people. It was said – listen to nature. It teaches us to live in love and harmony. Peace is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of strength.

How is the villa?

Built-in the 18th century, this three-storey villa is a wonderful example of historical architecture. On its left side, the Geneva Canal with Kanchan water flows. Around are trees talking to the redwood sky. So many types of Roses. People here also call this place 'Jungle of Roses'. About 450 years old fountains i.e. Fountains still make the body and mind happy.

There are two large parks on 20 hectares. Their structure is such that the slope goes towards the canal. Be it furniture or a library, everything is as it would have been in the beginning. There are 15,000 books in the library. Two lions have been made by carving stones on the gate. In addition to the reception, there are 12 bedrooms. No chemicals are used to take care of plants or other things in the 'Rose Garden' or both the parks.
