Bhilwara Model Defeated Corona’s Transition, Can be Applied Across the Country

The Bhilwara model of Rajasthan can be proved as a forerunner in front of the country to deal with the corona virus. When the first positive cases of Corona came to light in Bhilwara, it seemed as if Bhilwara was going to become India's second Italy. However, the Gehlot government immediately took action and sealed the border by imposing curfew in the entire city, after which the Corona figures in Bhilwara were stopped at 27 with the help of doctors. The Bhilwara model can be implemented in the country to fight Corona.

Many health workers of that hospital also became positive after the doctor was found corona positive in a private hospital in Bhilwara. It was stirred up by people thinking that the doctors must have seen how many people in Bangar Hospital, not knowing how many people have been infected coronas. As soon as the case came to light, the Health Department and administration of Rajasthan came into action and curfew was first implemented in Bhilwara city in the country.

Doctors and paramedical staff kept their morale high. A team of 16,000 health workers from Rajasthan was sent to Bhilwara city, where door-to-door screening work was started during curfew. This type of work was started in Bhilwara city for the first time in the country. The fear behind this was that who does not know who has come in contact with so many people, and the havoc of the Corona virus has spread in the city in this way. In Bhilwara, one by one people were tested Corona positive, which was causing a stir among the government and the public.

Lockdown was strictly followed and door-to-door screening was conducted. Emphasis was laid on getting people to follow social distancing. In Bhilwara, the screening work of about 18 lakh people was done within 10 days. Apart from this, all the people who were suffering from colds were also quarantined from their homes. All the five-star and three-star hotels, resorts and private hospitals of Bhilwara were acquired by the government and quarantined people who had symptoms of corona here.

In Bhilwara, along with the three-tier effort of administrative, police and medical, the people there also took care of social distancing. Due to all these steps, the corona cases in Bhilwara did not proceed and this has been controlled to a great extent. Out of 27 people in Bhilwara, now only 7 people are left Corona positive, the remaining 20 people have recovered and gone home. The remaining 7 people will also be healthy soon.

The Indian government has greatly appreciated the Bhilwara model of the Rajasthan government and has sought details of how Corona positive people were treated in Bhilwara city and prevented the spread of corona infection. Chief Secretary DB Gupta gave this information in the review meeting of CM Ashok Gehlot on Sunday. The Union Cabinet Secretary had video conferencing with the Chief Secretary. In this, Cabinet Secretary Gauba while praising the measures taken in Bhilwara to protect from Corona, indicated the implementation of this model across the country.
