Bharat Bandh: Indian Rail Service Affected in many Areas

Today, many trains have been affected due to the agitation of the farmers in different areas. Routes of many trains have been diverted and many have been canceled. Delhi Meerut Expressway has also been blocked by the farmers. Apart from this, Farmers have also blocked the highways.

Rail Service has been affected

New Delhi Amritsar- Shan-e-Punjab has been canceled. This train used to depart at 6:40 am from New Delhi and reach by noon. New Delhi – Moga and Old Delhi – Pathankot Express have also been canceled. Vande Bharat Express train (Katra – New Delhi) departs at 6 am but this train is also standing at Panipat station. At the same time, the Shatabdi train between New Delhi and Amritsar has been canceled. Apart from this, the Kalka Shatabdi, which departs from New Delhi at 7:40 am, has also been canceled today. If we talk about Bahadurgarh (Haryana) it is being told that farmers are sitting on the railway tracks. Due to this Bharat Bandh, trains coming from the Haryana side have also been affected.

According to the Northern Railway, Indian Railway is affected in Delhi, Ambala, and Ferozepur divisions due to the farmers sitting on the railway track. According to the sources, about 25 trains are affected in Ambala and Ferozepur division.

List of trains canceled

  • New Delhi Amritsar – Shan-e Punjab used to leave New Delhi at 6:40 am – Canceled
  • New Delhi- Moga- Canceled at 7 am-
  • Old Delhi – Pathankot canceled
  • Vande Bharat Express – bound for Katra – departs from New Delhi at 6 am but is standing at Panipat station
  • Amritsar Shatabdi between New Delhi and Amritsar canceled from New Delhi at 7:20 am
  • Kalka Shatabdi leaving New Delhi at 7:40 am canceled
