West Bengal has legislative elections in April-May and the electoral movement in the state has increased. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Kolkata on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Saturday, 23 January. Earlier, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee showed her strength and did 8 km trek.
‘Deshnaik Day’
The march began at 12.15 in the afternoon, as Netaji was born on 23 January 1897. Actually, the central government is celebrating Netaji’s birth anniversary as a day of valor, while the Mamta government has decided to celebrate it as ‘Deshnaik Day’. Modi will participate in two programs in Kolkata. Will issue coin and postage stamp in memory of Netaji. The great thing is that along with Modi, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also be on the stage.

Uproar before Modi’s arrival in Bengal
There was a ruckus in Howrah before the Prime Minister reached Bengal. BJP workers allege that people of Trinamool attacked him. The local BJP leader says that our workers were attacked and if Trinamool wants to do such politics, they will be answered in this language only.
Modi will participate in two programs
Modi will participate in two programs in Kolkata. After addressing an international seminar on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the National Library, he will attend the main event at Victoria Memorial Hall (Netaji Bhavan). Members of Azad Hind Fauj will be honored here. Mamta will also be on stage with him in this program.
She will also address before the Prime Minister. Till now the programs of both parties have been different on the cultural front in the state. Mamta is usually not present in the programs and meetings of the Center.
