Battle over Ticket Sharing in Jharkhand is going on

A fierce battle has started over ticket sharing in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Senior party leader and food supply minister in the government Saryu Rai, on Saturday, declared a rebellious tone and declared that he did not want a BJP ticket. Saryu Rai has bought nomination papers for the two assembly segments. The indication is clear that they are going to contest elections from two places. Saryu Rai is considered a critic of CM Raghuvar Das and the government.

The BJP had released its fourth list of candidates on Saturday. The names of three candidates were announced in this list. Along with this, Ajsu, a BJP ally, has also released another list. BJP has not given ticket to senior leader Saryu Rai yet.

Saryu Rai's name was also missing from BJP's fourth list. There is a lot of discussion in the state that the ticket of Saryu Rai has not been cut. In such a situation, if Saryu Rai contests an independent election, then in front of Jamshedpur East seat, Chief Minister Raghuvar Das will be in front of him. Saryu Rai is currently a BJP MLA from Jamshedpur Western. In the midst of all the speculation and political turmoil, Minister Saryu Rai reached Bhuvaneshwari Temple in Telco of Jamshedpur Eastern Assembly on Saturday.

Saryu Rai made it clear on Saturday that he was not interested in the BJP ticket from Jamshedpur West seat. He said that his decision has been conveyed to the top leaders of the party.

In the fourth list released by the BJP, Motiram Baudi has been fielded from Jugsalai seat from where the State Water Resources Minister and AJSU MLA Ramchandra Sahis is contesting. Two days ago, Ajsu challenged the BJP by fielding its candidate from Chandankari against the state's quota of sports and culture minister Amar Kumar Baudi. On Saturday, the BJP gave its fourth list. BJP has fielded Sudhir Sundi from Jagannathpur seat and Rita Devi Munda from Tamar.
