Bangladesh team is currently on tour of Zimbabwe. During the only Test match being played between the two, Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarbani had a face-off with Bangladesh's Taskin Ahmed. The incident took place when Bangladesh's Taskin Ahmed successfully left a delivery from Blessing Muzarabani and broke into dance. Seeing this, a dispute arose between the two. On the second day of the Test, in the 85th over of Bangladesh's innings, Muzrabani was delivering his spell. He bowled the second ball short pitch, which went over the left-hander. After that, Taskin teased the bowler and broke into dance. Seeing this, Muzrabani got angry and he stared straight into Taskin's face.
Meanwhile, this controversy forced Taskin to bat well. Bangladesh team had lost 8 wickets for 270 runs. After that, Taskin and Mahmudullah made 191-run partnership for the 9th wicket. Mahmudullah played a not out innings of 150 runs in 278 balls. At the same time, Taskin was dismissed after scoring 75 runs off 134 balls. The Bangladeshi team could manage to score a total of 468 runs.
After the match, Taskin told that Zimbabwe bowlers were constantly trying to get him out by throwing bouncers. Zimbabwe bowler Victor Nyauchi also sledged Mahmudullah, but he did not react. Apart from Mahmudullah and Taskin, Litton Das scored 95 runs. In response, Zimbabwe scored 200+ runs on the third day. Milton Shumba was dismissed for 41 and captain Brandon Taylor scored 81 runs.
