In the third consecutive match, Bangladesh defeated Australia to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match T20 series. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 127 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. In reply, Australia's team could score only 117 runs for 4 wickets. Bangladesh created history by winning the match by 10 runs.

Australia's team has suffered the most embarrassing defeat in the cricket history in Bangladesh. The team had not won a single T20 match against Australia before entering this series. By winning three consecutive T20 matches in the series, the hosts not only won the series but also managed to beat Australia for the first time in any format.

Bangladesh's Innings:

Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh team scored 127 runs for 9 wickets thanks to 52 runs innings from captain Mahmudullah. Apart from the captain, no other batsman was able to score runs. Shakib Al Hasan scored 26 while Afif Hossain scored 19 runs. Nathan Ellis, who came out to play the first match for Australia, made his debut memorable by picking up hat-trick. Jose Hazlewood and Adam Zampa got 2 wickets each.

Chasing a low score, Australia started the inning brilliantly. Mitchell Marsh once again remained the highest run-scorer for the team. He scored 51 runs off 47 balls. Shoriful Islam took two wickets while Nasum Ahmed and Shakib took one wicket each for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh's Hat-trick of victories:

Bangladesh won the first match of the series against Australia by 23 runs against the team in T20. Chasing 121 runs in the second match, Bangladesh took a 2-0 lead after winning by 5 wickets. Now having won the third match by 10 runs, have clinched the five-match series.
