MA raised questions on Ayushman Bharat Scheme
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has questioned the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The organization claimed to have several loopholes in it, including eligibility criteria, package rates, various regulations and involvement of insurance companies. Addressing the media in New Delhi, IMA President Shantanu Sen said, “The government should take suggestions from the doctors who do the actual practice only after that they decide the rate.”
