Ayodhya Verdict: Sunni Waqf Board to Hold a Meeting on November 26

While the Supreme Court in a Historic decision has ordered the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Sunni Waqf Board has been asked to give five acres of land at a prominent place for the construction of new mosque. On this decision, the Sunni Waqf Board said on Sunday that the decision to take five acres of land to build a mosque in Ayodhya will be taken in a meeting to be held on November 26.

UP Sunni Central Waqf Board Chairman Zufar Farooqui told that a meeting has been called on 26 November. If necessary, a meeting can also be held earlier. He said that the board will not go to court for review. We have to decide in the meeting whether the land should be taken or not. Various opinions are being received about this. Farooqui said that if the board decides to take the land in its meeting, then we will decide how and where to take it. The board president also said that some people are advising that we should not take land for the mosque but I think it will increase negativity. The chairman of the board said that the meeting was earlier scheduled to be held on 13 November but it was postponed to 26. He said that some people advised us that not taking land for the mosque would increase negativity, which is not right. While some people said that by taking the land, make an education institute and a mosque together.

Farooqui reiterated that we welcome the decision of the Supreme Court in this case. The board has no plans to challenge it. Remember, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi expressed his dissatisfaction after the Supreme Court's decision came. Owaisi had commented on the Supreme Court's decision that we cannot take bailout land. In expressing his personal opinion, he had emphasized that the proposal of five acres of land should be rejected. The Supreme Court gave the land of Ramjanmabhoomi to Ramlala while passing judgment on the Ayodhya case. Along with this, the Central Government has ordered to give five acres of land for the mosque there.
