Ayodhya Verdict: Muslim Personal Law Board will file a Review Petition in the First Week of December

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has decided to file a review petition in the first week of December against the decision of the Supreme Court in the Ayodhya case. The Personal Law Board gave this information by tweeting. The board's secretary and senior counsel Zafaryab Jilani said the Sunni Waqf Board's filing of a review petition would not have any adverse legal effect on the board. He also said that all Muslim organizations have an opinion on filing a review petition.

The Sunni Waqf Board, on Tuesday, decided not to file a review petition. In the meeting, six out of seven members of the board agreed not to file the petition while only one member Abdul Razzaq Khan wanted a reconsideration petition to be filed. All India Muslim Personal Law Board member Zafaryab Jilani said that the Sunni Waqf Board had already made it clear that it would not file a reconsideration petition. Everyone has their own thoughts. We will not comment on their decision.

Jilani said that the Muslim society is still with the Personal Law Board. Those who are opposing the reconsideration petition should get the opinions of Muslims. The Personal Law Board has decided to file a review petition in view of the opinion of Muslims. He said that the draft of the review petition has been prepared. All preparations have been completed. We will file the petition in the first week of December.
