Ayodhya Land Dispute: Trust Trapped in Buying Nazul Land From Mayor’s Nephew

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust conducts the registry of the Bhoomi-Bhawan. The latest case is very serious and shocking. The land which Deep Narayan, nephew of Ayodhya Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay bought from the Mahant of Dashrath Mahal Barasthan for 20 lakhs and sold it to the trust for Rs 2.5 crore, has been found in the documents. The top officials of the revenue department, citing the rules, say that the sale of this plot without freeholding will be illegal, transfer cannot be done from the tehsil.

In Ayodhya, the Gram Sabha Kot Ramchandra of Sadar Tehsil, Pargana Haveli Awadh's Gata number 135 acreage 0.126 acres i.e. 890 square meters of land is Nazul. The government owns this land.  Mahant Devendra Prasadacharya disciple of Dashrath Mahal, Rajasthan, the biggest Peeth here, got this plot. Mahant Vishwanath Prasadacharya sold it to the mayor's nephew Deep on 22 February 2021 for 20 lakhs. After about two and a half months, Deep sold this land to the trust for 2.5 crores.

The registrant must tell the truth. I have nothing to do with the trust's land-trading matters. Nazul does not have the right to register land without a freehold or registration of form. The registrant should tell the truth. – Anuj Kumar Jha, DM Ayodhya

I had sold the land to Deep Narayan in February. The Ram Lalla Trust needed the land. The land belongs to Nazul, not my personal but is in possession. Possession of two places by giving 30 lakhs. The people of the trust had not met me, the mayor had met. I knew that this land was not only mine but Nazul's, so what I got was a lot. Devendra Prasadacharya, Mahant Dashrath Mahal big place

"The Nazul land that the trust has bought was in our possession, used to do farming. Adjacent to it is my land. During Corona, ADM Administration Santosh Kumar Singh came on the spot with team force and said that the land has to be given to the trust, vacate it. I gave three out of this to Biswa Fakire Ram Mandir by measuring it. Everyone knew it was Nazul. – Brijmohan Das, Mahant Chauburji Temple

The allegation of scam in the purchase of two plots of Mauja Bagh Bijaasi, surrounded by legal entanglements, did not cool down that the purchase of Nazul land has raised many questions. The government's silence and the administrative machinery in the matter to the donors for the Ram temple have been more troublesome.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is under question. DM Anuj Kumar Jha himself is the official trustee, Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi on behalf of the State Government, and Gyanesh Kumar, Special Secretary, Home Department on behalf of the Central Government.  Nripendra Mishra, who was close to PM Modi, chairman of Ram Mandir's building construction committee and senior IAS of PMO, himself constantly reviews the expansion plan, yet how legal crisis is arising in land-building deals without checking. is.

Registry of temples also under question

Experts say that Ram Mandir Trust has also got the registry of temples like Kaushalya Bhawan, Farike Bhawan, Din-Din Kuti, etc. registered through managerial authority, whereas no one can sell or buy the temple of Aradhya.
