Actor Priyanka Chopra will be granted the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award by UNICEF's American section at their Snowflake Ball in December.
The honor is named after humanitarian Danny Kaye, who was UNICEF's first Goodwill Ambassador.
The 36-year-old entertainer took to Twitter to offer her thanks on Wednesday.

"My work with @UNICEF on behalf of all the world's children means everything to me. Here's to peace freedom and the right to education #ForEveryChild," Priyanka tweeted.
The entertainer is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, as a part of which she visited Ethiopia a month ago.
Priyanka Chopra is known for her commitment to social causes and for being a voice for youngsters' education.
She has been a part of United Nation's worldwide "Girl Up" Campaign and is related with a few NGOs in India to bring issues to light about approaches to improve the instruction, wellbeing, and security of girls in India.
