Auto Industry is Constantly Bringing new Products to the Indian Market

Car manufacturers also discontinue their old model as a steady decline in their sales.  However, since the introduction of the concept model of Tata Sierra at Auto Expo 2020, pictures of some old vehicles will also be coming in the minds of people.  Well, today we are going to tell in our report about the 5 vehicles whose market is waiting to return.

The Ambassador is the first car in India to be the oldest and has been produced from 1958 to 2014.  This was the only vehicle that was liked by many politicians including the Prime Minister himself.  Recently, DC Design founder Dilip Chhabria shared information about a fully-electric version of the Ambassador known as 'e Amby'.  Now Groupe PSA has acquired it and a time will come soon when the Ambassador will return to India.

Tata Sumo, known as Tata's economical and powerful vehicle, was discontinued only last year.  The SUV ruled the Indian market for nearly 25 years and was first introduced in 1994 as a 10-seater version and rear-wheel drive car.  The Sumo was not introduced to BS6 emission standards and the older vehicle was Tata Sumo Gold with a 3.0-liter diesel engine and the engine generates 85 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.  Its price ranged from Rs 7.39 lakh to Rs 8.77 lakh.

Tata's first SUV designed and built in India and then launched in 1991 was the Tata Sierra.  It was the first car in India to include an electric window, air conditioning, adjustable steering wheel and tachometer.  The three-door and 4-seater SUV is quite a popular vehicle and was recently introduced as an electric concept at the 2020 Auto Expo.
