On Sunday, Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios decided to withdraw from the ATP Cup match against Canada due to backache. Millman defeated Canada's Eliassem 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets in a men's singles match that lasted an hour and 43 minutes. Earlier, domestic player Alex de Minor beat Canada's Denis Shapovalov 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 in a three-set match. The match lasted for three hours and three minutes. At the same time, in the men's doubles match in Group-F, Australia's John Pearce and Chris Guchionne defeated the Canadian pair of Eliassem and Adil Shamsadin 3-6, 7-6, 10-8. At the same time, in the other results of the same group, Germany beat Greece 2–1.
