UP Elections 2022: Ruckus by SP Workers over EVM Handling
The election process in Uttar Pradesh has been completed. The results of the elections will be declared on March 10. In the exit polls, BJP seems to be getting the majority, while Samajwadi Party is also claiming its victory. Samajwadi Party leaders are raising questions about the security of counting votes. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has expressed apprehension of rigging in the counting of votes. Recently, SP candidates and workers created ruckus at various places over the handling of EVMs.

The Samajwadi Party has demanded to install jammers at the place of counting of votes due to the possibility of rigging in the elections. Let us inform you that the SP has demanded the State Election Commission to install jammers around the counting places. The party says that to avoid misuse and hacking of mobile phones, jammers should be installed. Along with this, Akhilesh has claimed to form the government with a majority in UP.

Let us inform you that on Tuesday evening at Pahariya Gate of Varanasi, SP workers alleged that the EVMs of the southern assembly are being changed. SP workers created a ruckus by stopping the EVMs from going from Pahariya Mandi to UP College for training. The SP workers raised slogans against the police administration by keeping the driver in possession. The ruckus also misbehaved with the Director-General of Police Ram Kumar who reached the spot.
